About Us

Vision is a developer of zero emission hydrogen/electric hybrid powered vehicles and turnkey hydrogen fueling systems. Vision's proprietary hydrogen/electric hybrid drive system combines the:

  1. Superior pulling capabilities of an electric powered engine, with the
  2. Extended range provided by a hydrogen fuel cell, at a;
  3. Lower lifetime cost of ownership.

Products

The Tyrano™ is the nation’s 1st street-legal zero emission Class 8 hydrogen/electric hybrid, 80,000 lbs. GVWR truck designed for local and regional drayage*.

The Zero Emission Terminal Tractor (ZETT) is a zero emission, electric/hydrogen hybrid, 130,000 lbs. GVWR** terminal tractor designed to work a double shift before refueling. The ZETT is jointly developed by Vision and the Capacity of Texas.

* Drayage is the transport of containerized cargo by specialized trucking companies between ocean ports or rail ramps and shipping docks.

** A gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR)is the maximum allowable total weight of a road vehicle or trailer when loaded.

Competitive Advantage

The Vision heavy-duty Class 8 trucks are substantially less expensive to operate on a per mile basis than diesel and natural gas powered trucks. The cost savings on a per mile basis versus diesel and natural gas, is expect to be around 35% to 45%.

Vision’s hydrogen/electric drive system has 536 HP and 3,300 ft.- lbs. of torque available -- almost double the pulling-power of a conventional diesel truck.
